Medici is delighted to welcome Anne Hunt, predictive analytics expert, as its new head of product. Hunt has held senior positions in both product and engineering functions and has dedicated her career to bringing the latest technologies to market. Most recently, Hunt was the Director of Product Management at Castlight Health based in San Francisco.

“Medici is on the cutting-edge of doctor-patient communications and I am very excited to be joining the product team to continue to disrupt the healthcare paradigm,” said Hunt.

The Medici app allows doctors to text and video chat securely with their patients, bypassing administrative hurdles to accessing care and passing along strong cost and time savings to patients. Medici has been downloaded by over 2,500 doctors since its launch in 2017 and recently raised over 22M in Series A funding to continue its push for innovation in healthcare technology.

Clint Phillips, founder and CEO of Medici, said: “Anne is bringing her knowledge of predictive data analytics and artificial intelligence for healthcare to Medici. Anne will also be critical in the integration of new platforms and technologies including productivity tools for doctors and real time data analysis we can share on Medici.”

Hunt will be leading new product innovation and integrating partner technologies into the Medici platform. Her strong background in data intelligence and semantics-enabled products will play a key role in helping Medici to further optimize the healthcare experience.

Hunt holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Philosophy from Tulane University as well as a PhD in Philosophy (with a dissertation on Semantics) from the University of Virginia. Her previous positions include Executive VP of Products at Finch Computing where she oversaw product strategy and design, UX research and front-end and back-end development. She is also the co-founder of Otto, Inc and First Retail based in San Francisco.
